At Enid First Nazarene, our purpose statement is more than just a catchy mission statement; it is how we strive to live as a community of believers.
Building a Legacy in Christ is not something we do to elevate ourselves, but it is something we want for future generations. We believe it is our responsibility and privilege to pass down a strong heritage to our kids, so that their desires would always be to love and serve God. In turn, they will pass this legacy on to their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
We consider it a privilege to Introduce People to Jesus. We do this by offering them unconditional love, acceptance, and hope. We long to help people who need Jesus—those who are lost, hurting, and confused. We do this because we believe the answers to their questions are found in Christ.
We have the privilege to Encourage Each Other. We lift one another up by caring for each other's needs. We celebrate each other's victories and share each other's struggles. We believe we are called to serve one another just as Jesus himself modeled for us.
We have the privilege to Strengthen Each Other. This happens through Bible study, training, and holding each other accountable. As we build our "faith muscles," we become stronger in the Lord and closer to each other.
Enid First Nazarene has been actively involved in the Enid community for nearly 100 years. We are committed to changing lives, one person at a time, through an authentic, Christlike community.
We hope you will come check us out! We would love to meet you and introduce you to the amazing God that we serve!
