Bruce graduated from Southern Nazarene University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Religion. This is actually the second time he has served on staff at Enid First Nazarene; he was the associate pastor here from 1990-1992. He then pastored churches in Austin, Texas, and Bethany, Oklahoma before returning to Enid in 2004 to serve as the senior pastor.

Pastor Bruce is an energetic guy who lives life to its fullest and longs for everyone to enjoy the journey together. His love for Christ and his call to ministry drive him to constantly reach out to include others. His desire, above all else, is to glorify God and see people develop an intimate relationship with the Father. He enjoys snow skiing, fishing in Colorado and playing golf.

Pastor Bruce and Sandy have been happily married since 1980. They have two children, Tyler and wife, Camerann, and Samantha and husband, Philip. They also have 3 grandchildren Andee, Ainsley, and Max. The Johnson's pastor as a team at Enid First Church of the Nazarene.

Sandy Johnson, Office Administrator

Sandy serves alongside her pastor husband at Enid First Church of the Nazarene. Her involvement in nearly every ministry of the church, along with serving as the church office administrator, keeps her very busy.

Sandy has a real heart for ministry and is a continuing student of God's Word. You will find her to be a warm, humorous, and encouraging gal to everyone she meets.

Sandy's hobbies include crocheting, decorating, antiquing, and sewing. She loves being a mom to her incredible kids!

 

Tyler Johnson, Worship Leader

Tyler has been voluntarily leading the congregation into worship through music since 2013. He wholeheartedly believes that music ministers in ways that words sometimes cannot. His desire is to glorify the Lord and to open his heart to the Spirit's moving.

Tyler has been married to his sweetheart Camerann since May 2012. They own First Class Lawns & Irrigation and also Faith Decorative Lighting. They have a daughter named Ainsley whom they love very much. Camerann earned her Masters of Counseling in psychology in December 2014, she earned her nursing degree in May of 2022 and is an OB Nurse at Integris. Tyler lives to hunt waterfowl and enjoys golfing and snow skiing.

 

 

Joshua Walters, Youth Pastor

Josh graduated from Southern Nazarene University in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology. He is from Parsons, Kansas.

Josh has a heart that is passionate about loving people the way Christ showed His love to us, and he desires to bring and teach this love to all the people he ministers. Josh has a heart for youth because he understands what a challenging time that it can be, and therefore works to help youth through those times towards God.

Josh enjoys golfing, hunting, KU basketball, being with friends and family, and helping others grow to their full potential
